Dutch international Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that he turned down a move to Liverpool and was not in negotiations with Bayern Munich.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said that he rejected Liverpool for Spurs – most likely for the chance to appear in the Champions League this season.

“Bayern were not interested, but Liverpool were interested,” he said.

“In the end you have to have a good feeling, and with Harry Redknapp I got a good feeling.”

“I am happy I am going to Spurs. I am going to give it my best and hopefully I will play a lot of games and be important for the team.”

He turned down 5 times Champs Liverpool for Spurs just to play in the Champions leauge! Well Liverpool missed on that this season but they’ll be back – under the new owners that is – and he’ll regret it.

Who would have thought that a Lverpool FC manager would be contemplating relegation?

Don’t blame the owners for this. They don’t play

A team full of very well paid Liverpool players should be able to beat Blackpool

They must do better!!!
