Frank Lampard has criticised the Anfield crowd and several Liverpool players of foul play after Chelsea captain John Terry was shown the yellow card that means he will miss the second leg of the Champions League quarter final.

Having already picked up two yellow cards in this season’s Champions League, a third means the defender will be absent from encounter at Stamford Bridge.

The England captain has already moaned about the decision, and his Chelsea colleague has been quick to join in.

He told Sky Sports: “I think JT went for the ball as he always does, and I think the crowd and a few of their players made it a bit worse, and got him booked.”

“It is unfortunate that we will miss him, but hopefully we will go through and he will have a clean bill come the next round.” he finished.
