Fernando Torres is looking to continue his good form of the weekend by helping The Reds knock local rivals Everton out of the FA Cup.

The Spanish striker has never been on the losing side against Everton and has no plans of ending that record tonight.

“It was a fantastic day for me that last time I played in a derby at Goodison Park,” he said. “I was lucky enough to score two goals and we won the game so it was a good moment for us.”

“It is true that Liverpool have not been beaten by Everton since I came here but that does not mean anything in this game.”

“It would be fantastic if we could keep that run going because it would mean that we are in the next round but we know we will have to work really hard for this to happen. We want to keep advancing in the cup, this is another target for us.”

“Beating Everton away will be very difficult but we will do our very best because we know that it will be fantastic for our fans if we can beat Everton at Goodison.”

“Unfortunately, we could not beat Everton on the last two occasions that we played them at home.”

“We know that they will be even more dangerous on their own ground in front of their own fans but we also know that we have another chance to win.”
