Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has spoken about his satisfaction with Adam Hammill’s early season form and also indicated that he would like to keep the loanee until the end of the season.

Hammill has previously impressed on loan at Dunfermline and Southampton and will be hoping to impress Benitez with his form this season to earn a first-team spot.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: “We’ve spoken about trying to keep him for the full season.

“Liverpool and Adam want to see how things develop. It’s only two weeks into the season and it’s still another six months before his loan runs out. So we’ll wait and see.

“But the way he is playing we’d like to keep him.”
