Alonso drops biggest hint yet over Madrid move

Xabi Alonso has dropped a major hint that he wants to join Real Madrid.

The midfielder was in Madrid on Monday night having dinner with his agent, Inaki Ibanez, and was approached by Spanish daily AS, who asked him about his future.

“I don’t know what is going to happen,” said Alonso. “It is up to the clubs to negotiate now.”

AS report that Liverpool have set a deadline of July 19 for the transfer to be completed, with right-back Alvaro Arbeloa also expected to complete a £5m switch to the Bernabeu.

The Spanish paper is notorious for propaganda in favour of Real Madrid, however.

arbeloa 5 mill
dossena 6 mill

that lot there gives us £ 47 , and didnt rafa say in prublic that we are able to buy 1 more player before we sell, it isnt that bad,

so id do this;

buy silva with the money rafas talked about ( as the one more sigining)

then buy aguero with the 47 MILL.

sell the cunt if he wants to leave LFC. He’s good but not as important as Mascherano. sell him for £25 – £30 million and we will be laughing, Buy Silva or another pacy winger with a good cross and another top forward

Alonso is more important to us than Mascherano.

Alonso sets the tempo of our play and dictates the midfield battle more often than not.

Mascherano is a worker that breaks up the opposition attacks.

We can get Toure in exchange to deal with that.

Lucas cannot cover for either.

apparently javier is attracting some pretty serious attention from barca too? rafa’s got some work to do. def need to shore up the midfield. here are some other transfers i think will happen
