Andrei Voronin is attracting plenty of attention of several clubs in Die Bundesliga, according to his representative.
“There are offers from other clubs already,” the player’s advisor, Andrey Golowasch, said in Bild.
”We are also aware of the interest of Schalke 04, but Berlin is the priority.”

Alvaro Arbeloa has spoken of his confidence in the current Anfield squad ahead of the all-important title run-in.
“We have everything you need to win trophies,” he said.
“A good manager, great supporters and a belief in our ability.”
“We have proved that with the way we have rescued so many games already this season.”
“Everyone is willing to fight and go the distance for one another.”
“We have a really good team and I don’t think we have yet shown the world our best form this season.”
“We are playing well but we are playing to 80% of our potential. Soon we will hit top gear.”

Rafael Benitez has challenged left-backs Andrea Dossena and Fabio Aurelio to make a claim for the spot in the side in the absence of Emiliano Insua for the next month.
He told Liverpoolfc.tv:
“Emiliano has been really good for us and has been doing well and I know people are saying we are losing something with him going away.
“But we have a lot of confidence in Fabio and Andrea and both players can now compete for the position.”

Dirk Kuyt has told Liverpoolfc.tv that he believes the Reds will continue to improve as the season goes on.
“The important thing for us this season is that we have had a better start than in previous seasons.”
“We’ve had some new players in the squad who have made us better but the other players have all been together for a few years now and because of that we are only going to get better and better.”
The Dutchman wants matches like the 0-0 draw at Anfield with Stoke to become a distant memory.
“That was a really frustrating afternoon for us. Sometimes you cannot explain football. We had so many chances to kill the game but just could not do it.”
“I do not think their crowd will let them be as defensive this weekend as they were at Anfield and so maybe there will be more space for us to play in.”
“They have done well at home though so we know it will be a difficult game. They are a strong team who can cause problems from long throws, but we are Liverpool and if we focus 100% on the game then we should win.”

The Daily Star are reporting that Stoke, Fulham, Sunderland, Blackburn and Tottenham have all made enquiries as to whether Sami Hyypia is available for transfer this month.
The Finland international defender has also attracted attention from Serie A and Die Bundesliga along with Scottish champions Celtic and Turkish giants Fenerbahçe.
Despite being left out of the Champions League squad this season, the veteran centre-back has made several appearances in the Premiership and has continued his good form from last season.
These enquiries are unlikely to bring any success to the sides wishing to sign him, given his continuing importance to Rafael Benitez.
